What we collect and why
When you submit a quotation request or a contact enquiry we collect the details you provide: your name, company name, business email, country, and optionally telephone, WhatsApp, company website, buyer type, destination and shipping preferences, and the content of your message.
We also record the products in your inquiry, the page the request was sent from, your browser user-agent, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored in readable form; the hash exists solely to detect and prevent abuse of the form.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where a commercial relationship follows, the performance of a contract.
Your inquiry list
The products you add to your inquiry list are stored in your own browser (local storage) and are not transmitted to us until you submit a quotation request. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and to maintain a record of the commercial relationship, and are then deleted or anonymised.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers acting on our instructions, such as our email delivery provider and hosting provider, under contractual data-processing terms.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.
